Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor and report on budget vs. actual performance, identifying any variances and recommending corrective actions. Cost Analysis:
Analyse and report on cost structures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making, such as profitability analysis, break-even analysis, and investment appraisal. Month-End & Year-End Closing:
Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet the company's obligations. Internal Controls & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies. Assist in audits and the implementation of financial best practices. Stakeholder Communication:
Provide clear financial insights and reports to senior management, department heads, and other stakeholders, supporting them in achieving their objectives. Systems & Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the optimisation of financial systems and procedures.
