Management Accountant – Permanent – Based Great Yarmouth (hybrid considered)

Job Purpose: Responsible for providing accounting support to the Company, as well as preparing financial reports for Senior Management. Additionally, liaises with outside agencies to ensure compliance for reporting and auditing purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Reporting / Budgeting and Forecasting Preparation of annual budget / forecast – rolling integrated model incorporating P & L / Balance sheet/ Cashflows for a 12-month period Preparation of management accounts (monthly) with support from the Finance Manager – to include: Accrued income based on job ticket tracker Cost accruals and prepayments Tax provisions (estimates) Report monthly actuals vs budget with commentary Calculation of quarterly tax payments due to HMRC based on forecast taxable profits for the year, with support from tax advisers

Annual Reporting & Auditing Preparation of year end results, including consolidated results at SHL level Preparation of year end file for auditors and run yearend on Sage. Statutory financial statements are prepared by auditors Provision of audit information to auditors: SSL (AAB) SVL and SHL (Crowe Cyprus) Norwegian Branch (EY) Preparation of SSL Norway branch figures for Norwegian Extract of account (‘EoA’) Liaise with tax advisers across jurisdictions to ensure accurate year end provisions reflected in the financial statements and timely submission of various compliance requirements

Tax Reporting Preparation and assistance with tax reporting compliance in UK, Norway and any other relevant jurisdictions Working with tax advisors to provide timely and accurate tax reporting

Experience: Extensive and proven experience in accounting practises, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, preparing and submission of management accounts and auditing Extensive and proven experience in tax reporting and compliance in the UK and EEA Supervisory experience within a similar role Knowledge or experience in working within the Oil and Gas industry would be beneficial, although not essential

Skills & Qualifications: Certified Management Accountant or Chartered Accountant Proficient in using Microsoft Packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Proficient in using Sage 200 Excellent spoken and written English
