Your new company is a multidisciplinary design, engineering, and project management company based in Grimsby, delivering engineering solutions across various sectors including food and drink, pharmaceutical, and chemical.

Your new role As a Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and play a crucial role in the production and management of management accounts. You will be responsible for providing insightful reporting and commentary to non-finance stakeholders across the business. This position also consists of system integration for new accounts.

What you'll need to succeed

Significant benefit if the candidate has Sage 200 experience. Responsibilities include training staff, fixing systems/accounts, and managing the newly acquired electrical company. The candidate will gradually take on more accounts.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and produce monthly management accounts. Provide detailed financial analysis and commentary to support business decision-making. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
