is a growing student accommodation and facilities management contractor with an expanding number of operations nationwide. The Company over the last year has secured 40 contracts with 6 different clients. We are looking for a Management Accountant

to join our Finance team based in Harrogate, working 40 hours per week, from 9.00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Salary:

Depending on Experience The Management Accountant will work with the Assistant Management Accountants and become the day-to-day contact for various Client Finance representatives. The position will ensure accurate and insightful accounts are produced on a monthly basis for the client. The position requires commercial acumen, attention to detail, strong knowledge of accruals and prepayments, and experience in the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. The job holder will be expected to harness a working environment that encourages teamwork, energy, and creativity. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts within the reporting deadline. Assistance with reviewing the Properties monthly Finance reports. Preparation & review month-end balance sheet reconciliations. Accruals and Prepayments. Perform Investor Calculation each quarter. Production of client financial reforecasting. To ensure compliance with the clients Controlled Self-Assessment. To assist with the Client's Annual Statutory Audits. Support other team members with training. Support on ad-hoc tasks and reporting. To understand commercial and performance aspects of Finance. To review and implement process improvements for the finance function and complete user acceptance testing. To keep up to date with industry initiatives to enable best practice to be adopted at all times. The above outlines the main duties and responsibilities of the position; however, this cannot be comprehensive and other duties, as directed by the company and within the job holder's capabilities, may be required. The duties will evolve and be modified by changes within the company. Skills (includes Key Competencies)

Strong financial, analytical modelling, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience with spreadsheets and financial programs. Good communication skills. Ability to successfully handle several priorities simultaneously, maintain composure in high-pressure situations, and maintain objectivity, focus, and good judgment. To promote a culture of continuous improvement. Strong knowledge of accruals and prepayments and experience in the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. Thorough understanding of all commercial aspects of contracts. Excellent presentation, attention to detail and ability to complete tasks. Excellent problem-solving ability and decision-making skills. Be able to effectively delegate work in line with operational priorities and needs. Personal Qualities

AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA or CIMA with 2-3 years of Management Accounts experience. Experience of working within all areas of the finance function. Thorough knowledge of finance computer software with Navision preferred. What's on offer
