Oversee and maintain the finance function, ensuring the smooth operation of all daily financial activities performed by the finance team. Provide strategic financial guidance to the Board of Directors, supporting business planning and informed decision-making. Manage and ensure the integrity of the financial accounting system and associated processes. Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to review management accounts and balance sheets, investigating and addressing any variances. Deliver monthly performance analysis with actionable insights to help drive the business towards its commercial goals. Take full ownership of the year-end process, including managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with financial standards. The successful Management Accountant will be:
Educated to degree level with an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or Part Qualified with relevant experience. Qualified By Experience candidates with a strong background will also be considered. Experience within the SME sector is highly desirable. Strong stakeholder liaison skills. A strong focus and background in financial control and process improvement, with a good understanding of technical accounting preferred. What’s on Offer:
