This position has arisen due to an internal promotion. You will be working as part of the management accounting team of 11 and will be reporting into the Group Management Accounts Manager. With the support of a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for producing, analysing, and presenting the management accounts for your business area. You will be business partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders within the business to drive the financial goals and profitability of your business area. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to: Producing four weekly management accounts for your area of the business and analysing the results against agreed budgets and forecasts. Presenting the accounts at fortnightly review meetings with senior finance stakeholders. Supervising and mentoring a Finance Assistant who will be supporting you with producing the management accounts. Leading on financial planning for your area of the business, which includes the creation of budgets and forecasts. Producing expenditure analysis. Completing financial reviews and providing support for investment proposals. Supporting with strategic planning by providing financial insights, scenario analysis, and evaluating the financial viability of business growth plans. Continuously reviewing and improving finance processes, reporting systems, and internal controls. Assisting with year-end statutory audit. Profile

To apply for this position, you: Must have experience of working in management accounts - essential. Will be studying CIMA or ACCA - essential. Will ideally have some experience of budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering stakeholders - desirable. Will have the confidence and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at varying levels - essential. Job Offer

£45,000 - £55,000 (dependent upon experience). Standard hours are 8:30 - 5, but start and finish times can be varied. A 37.5 hour working week. Study support for CIMA or ACCA, which includes 1 day PW to study during work hours. Hybrid working - 1 day PW from home, but 2 days PW might also be considered. Free on-site parking. Discretionary annual bonus. 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
