We are looking for a qualified accountant who is passionate about delivering an excellent service to the rest of the College and who is keen to put ideas forward and help shape the way we do things in Finance as we look to refine our processes post-implementation of a new finance system 18 months ago. The successful candidate will be based with the rest of the Finance Team at the Nottingham One offices in the city centre, reporting in to the Head of Finance. This person will be responsible for the monthly management accounts preparation as well as working closely alongside the Finance Business Partners to prepare the budget and reforecast. There is plenty of scope to develop in this role with responsibilities extending to cash flow forecasting, monthly statutory reporting and year-end accounts preparation. The ability to work to tight timelines and problem solve will be key to success in this role and we are looking for someone with strong organisation skills and a proven track record of delivering to deadlines. You will need to both support and delegate to the Assistant Management Accountant to ensure the development of an efficient Management Accounts Team.
