Due to the expansion of the finance team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified 'Management Accountant'. Principal Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain company confidentiality at all times Supervision of and allocation of duties to the Management Accounts team Line Management of the Accounts team and the Reception team Optimising the efficiency and performance of the Management Accounts function through active provision of financial and accounting information to the HofF Assist in the timely production of the Statutory Accounts Carry out timely Year-end supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the Year end balances Ensure timely claims of supplier rebates Proactive communication and liaison with Internal and External Auditors to provide timely responses to queries raised Authorisation of invoices in a timely manner Timely production of the monthly Management Accounts Ongoing management and reconciliation of Finance agreements and replying to queries from stores Timely collation of export documentation in order to support VAT returns and to provide advice to stores when completing/collating documentation Proactive communication and liaison with all internal departments to provide required information To conduct formal investigations when requested Maintain good housekeeping practices in all areas of responsibility Report to senior personnel any breach of security or any act of dishonesty by a member of the public, visitor or member of staff Any other reasonable duties as required Shared Responsibilities: Review and preparation of daily cash flow balances, transfers and online banking Preparation and development of new systems, work practices and controls with the HofF Provision of weekly and monthly reports as determined by the HofF or the Director Maintain accurate records and identify sources of errors in conjunction with the HofF Preparation and submission of insurance claims where required Development of new systems and work practices with the HofF Key holder Our client is offering a fantastic working environment, good levels of career progression, and a comprehensive benefits package with a highly competitive salary.
