Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a global manufacturing group based near Leominster, Herefordshire to recruit a driven and dynamic Management Accountant. A permanent and progressive accounting role with the opportunity of remote/hybrid working. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be preparing, developing and analysing financial information, to allow the organisation to make well-informed decisions. Offering study support for ACCA/CIMA/ACA and a generous bonus scheme, this is a great opportunity to join a leading and entrepreneurial manufacturing group. Your new role Your key duties will involve having responsibility for the Fixed Asset Register and the verification of assets across the UK sites, ownership of the IFRS 16 Leased Asset Accounting and continually reviewing Assets Under Construction and capitalising Assets. You will be working closely with key stakeholders to collate longer term Capex spend plans for the Budget and Strat Plan years, posting journals, accruals and prepayments, along with capex project reviews and forecasting capex spend/depreciation. You will work with key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information to assist with decision-making, and identifying areas which could be more efficient in order to give more time to value-added activities. You will support internal and external audits when required and provide cover for the Senior Finance team with regards Balance Sheet Recs, Intercompany Balance Reconciliations and VAT processes. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this fast-paced Management Accountant role you will need experience in a similar position, part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA with strong MS Excel skills and experience in financial systems. You will be willing to learn and develop, adaptable to business needs, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be hands-on, proactive and demonstrate ongoing professional development throughout your accounting career. Experience within the manufacturing sector and use of SAP would be advantageous but not essential. What you'll get in return This permanent and progressive Management Accountant role offers a salary between £40,000 - £48,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus study package and up to 15% annual bonus based near Leominster, Herefordshire.
