Your Impact As a Management Accountant at Frive, you will ensure financial stability by delivering accurate management accounts, maintaining robust controls, and optimizing cash flow. Your expertise in budgeting and forecasting will uncover cost-saving opportunities and support strategic decisions. Collaborating with the Financial Controller, you’ll safeguard compliance through statutory account preparation and audits. By providing actionable financial insights and improving systems, you’ll enhance efficiency and identify growth opportunities, directly contributing to Frive’s operational and strategic success.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyse management accounts, including monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and reports. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights. Collaborate with the Financial Controller on monthly and annual reporting activities. Take ownership for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation pack. Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimisation. Monitor and manage our cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments. Provide support in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data by maintaining robust internal controls. Deliver financial analysis for strategic projects, helping identify profitability drivers and growth opportunities. Support operational teams by preparing relevant financial reports and advising on performance improvement. Participate in the continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and procedures. Assist in monitoring and controlling business expenses against budgets. Process payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of employee payments and statutory obligations.

About You Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (essential). Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) is highly desirable. Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
