SRM Recruitment are working with a charity to secure them an established Management Accountant. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a friendly, smaller team environment and who is experienced enough to work independently and take initiative. You will play a leading role in the day-to-day running of the finance function. This is a really varied role, and being part of a small team the successful candidate will be happy working within a busy, "hands-on" environment. Our client is looking for a candidate with prior management accounting experience; experience of working for a charity would be beneficial. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Management accounting Cashflow management Year-end accounts & preparation of audit packs Co-ordination with external accountants, auditors & bankers Liaise with commercial property investment managers Attend property board meetings Loan covenant reporting Due diligence on charities, Not for Profits Bank account and cash management, payments General office management (office supplies, liaise with IT provider) Additional ad-hoc projects and reports Skills: Strong attention to detail Self-motivated Forward thinking & ability to solve problems Excel – intermediate to advanced (formulas and functions, financial modelling) This role is office-based.
