The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant
Support the Management Accounting team in the production of the financial statements including timely delivery of accurate monthly management accounts and weekly cash flow forecasts in line with financial standards and Corin Group policies. Production of monthly general ledger journals and production of balance sheet reconciliations, maintenance of the Accounts Payable ledger. Ad-hoc analysis, reporting and support to the wider FIB team, as and when required. Liaise with local accountants and relevant Business Partners within Financial Planning & Analysis team to ensure accurate monthly results. Active and pro-active involvement in system and process development. Support in the production of the annual budget and rolling reforecasts. Support in the annual audit at a Group and local entity level, and delivery of information for disclosure in the Group and local entity year end statutory accounts. Support in the preparation of tenders. Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin's ISO13485 QMS & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820. Ensure that process and timeline requirements for Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in support of Corin's Global Objectives for CAPA. The ideal Management Accountant will have:
Either a part or fully qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA). Strong communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relations across all levels, including excellent numeracy and literacy skills. Attention to detail combined with a logical approach to tasks. Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Working knowledge of Sage Line 1000.
