A little bit about the role...

We're currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our Finance Department. You would have ownership of partnering with our manufacturing subsidiary company British Offsite, providing financial partnering support with accurate analysis, monitoring, and reporting. You'd be joining a close-knit team of 4 accountants who work collaboratively supporting Weston Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Provide accurate management and financial information for review in line with the timetable set by Group. Manage and assist with collating monthly management packs, preparation of annual budgets, and quarterly manufacturing forecasts. Manage and assist in preparation of full year statutory account packs, supporting analysis, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts. Setting up and undertaking due diligence of new external accounts. Review and assist in the preparation of month-end journals, reconciliation and closing ledgers at end of accounting periods, and updating of cash flow system. Weekly cash flow information. Strong communication and well-written letters of credit. Commercial analysis of key financial data to influence business decisions. Participation in the development of new/improved systems and controls. Provide weekly KPI reporting to support British Offsite forecasting. Commercial acumen with the gravitas and confidence to bring the right level of challenge to the business. Review and check invoices by external suppliers. Support the wider Finance Department with yearly group insurances. Partner with key stakeholders across British Offsite and lead in operational meetings as a finance representative. As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Detailed knowledge of Financial & Management Accounting in a Manufacturing environment. Good levels of competence on spreadsheets. An ability to work as a team member. Willingness to learn and progress. Proactive and extremely organised work ethic. Newly qualified accountant.
