Our client based in Trafford Park is looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a 6-month contract basis.
Responsibilities include: Generate accurate and timely monthly management accounts and weekly P&Ls while maintaining a strong focus on balance sheet control. Liaise effectively with Group Finance and shared service teams as required. Provide insightful reporting on business performance, including the generation of monthly board packs, operations performance reports, weekly scorecards, and any ad-hoc information as required. Lead the generation of the annual budget and financial forecasts, including appropriate insight and influence to ensure the business objectives are met. Drive strong working capital and cash management across the business and ensure accurate cash flow forecasts. Maintain and strengthen internal controls. Drive compliance across the business. Work collaboratively as a business partner with the Operations team, the Performance Improvement Team, and Overheads budget holders to drive financial performance, cost management, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and will be available to start and commit to the duration of the contract.
