Management Accountant - £30,000 to £40,000

Role Overview: A hands-on role that supports the production of management accounts for the business. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the financial health of the organisation, with responsibilities across the monthly accounting cycle. Key Duties: Prepare working papers and post journals for monthly accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage and update the Fixed Asset Register, including catering equipment and company vehicles. Submit statutory surveys and data. Reconcile nominal accounts, including revenue streams and supplier invoices. Perform analytical work and financial planning. Ideal Candidate: At least 5 years' experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role. Minimum AAT qualification, with a solid understanding of double-entry accounting. Proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to handle financial data effectively. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero or QuickBooks) is advantageous. Strong attention to detail, with a commercial mindset to support business growth and profitability.
