Blair West is working in partnership with LSL Property Services in their Franchise Division, as they look to recruit a part-qualified management accountant following a departmental restructure. Joining a strong existing team, you will report into the Senior Finance Manager at a fast-growing financial services business in Newcastle as they look to add an Assistant Management Accountant to their finance team.

Joining an existing team of 7, this role will focus on assisting with management accounts production, internal business partnering, and assisting with revenue reporting.

The opportunity: Support with the generation of accurate management accounts and other management information in accordance with agreed timescales for areas of responsibility. Support the wider finance team in auditing. Ensure best-in-class service delivery to Franchisees, including timely and accurate data delivery. Provide value-added support to senior management. Provide support on cross-functional projects. Mentor junior staff within the department. Support delivery of budgets within agreed timescales. Produce ad-hoc reports as required. Review Franchisee billing/self-billing prior to issue. Liaise with operational management and Franchisees, providing finance support to assist with the delivery of our growth strategy. Ensure key outputs are produced to timetable. Ensure finance processes operate within agreed parameters. Address accounting issues and resolve queries. Support in the delivery of monthly reporting and variance reports. Support in the delivery of key variance reports and make recommendations for action required. Provide supportive input into the achievement of the Franchise Division's business plans & goals.

You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have: A part-qualification or actively studying (CIMA/ACCA). Relevant experience in a large/corporate organisation (preferred). Experience in producing management accounts (preferred). Knowledge of the SUN accounts system (preferred). Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills. Experience in dealing with external stakeholders (Customers, Suppliers, etc).
