Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively reengaged by our long-standing client, a high regarded hospitality business based close to Newquay. The business has experienced phenomenal growth over the past few years, and this is a newly created opportunity within the function. Due to the nature of the company’s business, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite.
Working closely alongside an experienced Financial Controller (also introduced by Trial Balance Consulting), this is a broad, interesting and challenging opportunity where the successful candidate will work to collate both analytical and management information to paint a detailed, yet transparent picture of the company’s true financial performance. Key responsibilities include:
Work with the senior finance team to prepare and produce monthly management accounts
Project analysis and costing
Preparation of KPI's
Bank reconciliations
Assist with all month end procedures to tight deadlines
Assisting budgeting and business planning
Assist in preparing for quarterly VAT reporting
What we’re looking for: This role represents an exceptional opportunity for an Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant who wants to take a step up and focus on management reporting, so a strong desire and aptitude to develop your career is essential! Part/fully AAT qualified would be ideal but those with relevant vocational experience who are keen to progress will be given equal consideration.
