Are you an experienced Management Accountant with a passion for delivering insightful financial reporting and contributing to business growth? Our client is seeking a proactive and professional Management Accountant to join their finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts, ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet accounting, and providing key insights to help drive the business forward.

Your role as Management Accountant includes but is not limited to:

Overseeing month-end processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial information. Delivering high-quality reports, including clear narratives, to help the leadership team interpret key financial data and make informed decisions on risks and opportunities. Ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and supported, with no unresolved differences remaining for more than one quarter. Working closely with teams across the business—from operations to site teams—to ensure financial support is effectively provided and that financial information is understood by all stakeholders. Assisting with the external audit process, ensuring smooth and accurate responses to audit queries. Identifying opportunities for process and system improvements, particularly around reconciliations and financial reporting. Keeping up-to-date with operational changes to ensure correct accounting treatment and system updates. Providing ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making across various operational and management teams.

Qualifications, skills and experience required as the Management Accountant:

Part Qualified / Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA (or equivalent). Experience with finance and ERP software, and proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Familiarity with Xero accounting software and maximizing its functionality for reporting and financial management. Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, and deliver high-quality financial information. Experience managing internal and external stakeholders, particularly within an SME environment.
