are seeking a
Management Accountant
to provide comprehensive accountancy support within our clients Finance team. This role involves close collaboration with Budget Managers and senior finance staff, assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly reports, and variance analyses. The ideal candidate will be a key link between the Finance Department and specified areas, ensuring effective budget management and financial efficiency. Day-to-day of the role: Support Budget Managers in the preparation of Budgets, ensuring alignment with the company Business Plan. Produce timely and accurate Monthly Budget Reports, forecasts, and variance analysis as per Department deadlines. Maintain up-to-date and accurate Budgetary Control and Establishment Records for specified areas. Regularly meet with Budget Managers at all levels to advise on Budgetary Control/Management and understand forecast positions. Produce monthly management accounts. Manage and support junior staff members, contributing to the efficient operation of the Finance Team and wider Finance Directorate. Assist with the Annual Budget Setting Process, liaising with managers to discuss performance and future plans, and providing financial support and advice. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in management accounting. Strong understanding of financial policies, planning, and control. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with various levels of management. Proficiency in financial software and systems relevant to budgeting and financial reporting. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines. Benefits: Competitive salary package.
