Our client is a market leading manufacturer looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This award-winning business operates internationally across a range of sectors including research and defense on exclusive projects. This pivotal role is newly created, will report into an experienced Financial Controller and offer mentorship as the Management Accountant progresses through the business.
Within this role, you will hold responsibility for influencing strategic decisions that will drive performance within the business, as well as leading various reporting processes and delivering these results to multiple stakeholders across the wider operational team.
Duties and responsibilities will include:

Full responsibility of monthly budgeting and forecasting processes including reforecasting.
*
Reporting Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow performance along with submitting budget/forecasts to wider Group.
*
Responsibility for stock processes and reconciliations on a monthly basis.
*
Performing weekly cash flow forecasting and managing working capital.
*
Completing WIP reports.
*
Automate and streamline reporting processes where necessary.
*
Preparation of VAT and CIS returns.
*
Support the continued development of 2 direct reports.
*
Assisting in audit process – acting as a point of contact for external auditors.
