Hays are working with a dynamic business who are looking for a Part time Management Accountant to join their team.
Your new role Preparation and analysis of monthly/quarterly and annual consolidated management accounts and financial reports. Lead preparation for the company annual audit. Key contributor to finance project supporting the Director. Take responsibility for ensuring the financial processes, systems and controls are operating correctly. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported. Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies. Provide variance analysis and commentary to budgets/forecasts vs actuals. Monitoring of company long term cash flow requirements. Review of group credit control and aged debtors. Review of VAT returns for submission. Review of prepayments / accruals / general journals. Provide financial analysis and guidance to department Managers on performance status. Monitoring and management of foreign exchange. What you'll need to succeed
You should be an experienced Management Accountant with advanced analytical and Excel skills and a positive and self motivated approach. What you'll get in return
