We are working with a great engineering company to recruit a new Management Accountant / Finance Specialist to join their successful business in Portslade.
The firm is extremely well established with some highly impressive clients and contracts. They have grown throughout the pandemic and continue to enjoy ongoing success, currently with a headcount of almost 50.
The team is diverse and happy, and there's a lot of fun at the head office. There is a great team spirit, and while they are busy, they do enjoy their work and work together to achieve great things.
The role itself will be to support the Finance Director, take responsibility for the management accounts, oversee the bookkeeping, and ensure VAT returns are calculated and submitted correctly.
Duties will include:
Supporting the finance assistant in the day-to-day entry of business transactions
VAT Returns
Management accounts
Credit control
Budgeting & Forecasting
Cashflow management
Producing reports for the Directors
This is a brilliant, varied role that offers progression and growth as well as ownership. There is full study support on offer if required for AAT/ACCA or CIMA.
