Reporting to a Senior Accountant, you’ll support them in the production of monthly accounts packs, KPI data and variance analysis. You’ll be responsible for analysing actual performance against budget and coordinate detailed outturns, forecasts and budgets with Heads of Service, managers and budget holders. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently as well as working with the team to ensure all deadlines and monthly reporting timetables are met. You’ll lead budget review meetings with your budget holders and provide insightful guidance and advice to them in the performance of their business area. Being a strong team player is crucial, willing to work alongside a team of like-minded outcome focused people, and willing to work as directed to deliver a quality financial reporting service.
