An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a vibrant, innovative & expanding manufacturing company in the Workington area on a permanent basis.
As the Management Accountant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Finance, Operations and Sales Teams on a day to day basis, providing detailed analysis across the business to facilitate continuous improvement, growth & much more.
About the role Based in Workington, you will be responsible for: Manage and report on the financial performance across projects & locations. Forecast and ensure compliance with financial regulations across UK & Europe. Preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly & annual reports including management accounts, cash forecasts & project reports. Partner with leadership & operations. Collate & analyse financial data, providing detail on trends, forecast and budgets.
About you The ideal candidate for this position must have: Ideally AAT level 4 qualified, and looking to progress to chartered status. Strong Excel skills and experience of working with ERP software is preferable. Experience with product costing & understanding of the manufacturing process is desirable, or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills & will be partnering with stakeholders across the business.
