A large manufacturing company in Rotherham has a vacancy for an ambitious Part Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant.
Reporting to a supportive and nurturing Financial Controller, this role will provide you with the experience needed to grow into a Finance Manager position.
Responsibilities:
Detailed analysis and understanding of costs, including driving cost reduction initiatives across the business. Working with location teams to drive efficiencies in business data collection and usage. Identifying opportunities for improvements across the businesses and implementation. Preparation of month-end accounts through to completion in line with internal reporting deadlines. Review weekly P&L. Conduct inventory review with operations and commercial teams. Qualifications:
Part Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant. A self-starter, dedicated, results-driven, and focused on achieving business goals. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines, prioritizing effectively. Ability to effectively integrate members of the finance team. Assertive approach, able to communicate at all levels and in varying situations. Good verbal and written communication skills. Benefits:
