Management Accountant . This position reports to Financial Controller and will work in Selsey, West Sussex, United Kingdom.

Selsey:

Dometic Marine's facility in Selsey, UK manufactures bespoke blinds, shades and soft furnishings for the world's leading motorboat and yacht builders.

As

Management Accountant

in the Selsey team, you will be responsible for providing financial control of inventory and product costing, generating reports and the analysis of the reported data and assisting Financial Controller in monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and annual audit.

General Responsibilities

Provide UK & US sales report for the management team. Ensure accurate product costing and provide monthly cost of sales valuation. Verify US monthly cost of sales valuation. Perform detailed analysis of UK Inventory comparing last cost trends, project stock and looking for posting anomalies in the stores areas. Check accuracy of cycle counting on an ongoing basis and work with stores team to ensure all parts counted and the target accuracy is being met. Carry out quarterly / annual WIP / Kanban valuations within the Selsey factory. Carry out monthly stock obsolescence calculations for the UK and US. Assist Financial Controller with month-end processes and reporting to meet Dometic Group reporting requirements. Assist Financial Controller with the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes including reporting to Dometic Group. Assist in the continual improvement of IT systems and financial / operational processes. Support the finance team in achievement of all tasks & reporting. Assist in the development of the finance team. Ad hoc tasks as required by the role. What do we offer?

The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in finance environment. Additionally, they will have acquired the following qualifications and experiences:

Experience working within a manufacturing environment - required. Recognised accounting qualification - AAT, CIMA or ACCA. Experience of modern ERP systems. Experience of working with foreign exchange rates. Experience of working in an SME reporting to a Corporate. To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:

Excellent IT skills in particular with Microsoft Excel. Ability to building strong working relationships with department managers and challenge and support when necessary. Understanding of processes and systems and the ability to make continuous improvements. Flexible approach to working hours during peak periods.
