Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering exclusively with a leading business in Sheffield to recruit a Management Accountant for an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team and contribute to the continued success of the business.
Key Responsibilities: Produce and analyse monthly management accounts and KPIs Investigate and explain financial variances to stakeholders across the business Identify and analyse financial trends to inform investment and operational decisions Drive commercial reporting and hold departmental heads accountable Prepare annual budgets and regular forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-Flow, KPI benchmarking) Produce open book accounting reports for the external governing bodies Assist with year-end and statutory audit processes Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, processes, and policies Develop and lead a high-performing finance team Key Skills: Qualified accountant, ideally CIMA Experience in a group environment, preferably with multi-site operations Strong organisational and management skills with a focus on continuous improvement Detail-oriented and inquisitive Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills Proficient in Excel and familiar with Sage People management experience to reach deadlines and improve efficiencies across the team We are looking to speak with
