role is for a Management Accountant and will report into the Head of Finance,

supporting the wider finance function. This is a rare opportunity for a

qualified Management Accountant to join a local business that has built a

strong

sense

of community, regularly engaging in charitable work and youth development

programmes. The position of Management

Accountant has been engineered to hold responsibility for month-end processes, engage

with a variety of senior stakeholders and add genuine value by influencing

strategic decision making and assessing cost-reduction initiatives. Duties and responsibilities will include: Production

of complete month-end management accounts including commentary and variance

analysis

Preparation

of P&L

Responsibility

for completing full reconciliation of balance sheets

Assisting

with the creation of monthly budgets and leading forecasting processes

Business

Partnering with Operational Teams to drive profitability

Collaborating

with non-finance stakeholders

Identify

opportunities to streamline and or automate financial processes where necessary

Weekly

review and analysis of P&L

Reporting

on sales and KPI’s across the wider business

Completion

of monthly VAT submissions

Assist

with internal and external audit processes – acting as a point of contact for

external auditors

Person Specification: ACA

/ ACCA / CIMA Qualified
