The Management Accountant will provide comprehensive financial support to the Industrial/Manufacturing department, playing a crucial role in financial planning and analysis. This role will require a strong focus on cost control, budgeting, and forecasting to drive business performance. This role will be mainly remote with ad hoc travel required in the UK. Description Support the Senior Finance Manager to prepare, and critically review, the divisional monthly results Prepare and present monthly reporting and interpretations of divisional financial performance by activity and/or area Visit sites to challenge financial performance and coach financial awareness Prepare accurate monthly financial reports to guide strategic decision-making. Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Perform cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains. Work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure financial compliance. Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of financial statements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business. Drive process improvements within the finance department. Provide financial expertise and advice to senior management. Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: A strong academic background in accounting or finance. Professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry. Excellent analytical and numerical abilities. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Job Offer A competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 per year. Additional benefits including a car allowance or car scheme.
