Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
Support cash flow forecasting and manage cash flow effectively.
Track project costs, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
Assist in year-end accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors.
Collaborate with various departments to offer financial guidance and insights.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications & Skills:
Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or
qualified by experience
(relevant practical experience in a similar role).
Previous experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within the construction industry or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
A proactive, results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
