My client is an industry leading print business, established over 60 years ago, and a pioneer within the marketing and communications side of the industry. Based at their Stockport head office, they're currently seeking a qualified management accountant to work closely with the Group Reporting Manager. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified / chartered accountant with experience of working for a global manufacturing, distribution or blue-chip commercial organisation.
The Role Deliver monthly accounting close process for 6 international entities. Preparation and posting of monthly journals. Analytical review of monthly results. Provide commentary on key variances. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Participate on statutory external audits for the group and its subsidiaries. Facilitate with audit partners statutory submissions including Excise, VAT and ONS submissions. Prepare annual budget working closely with key stakeholders.
The Person Graduate level education with demonstrable academic success. Recognised professional qualification or chartered accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT). Minimum of 5 years professional experience. Enterprise level ERP experience. Can think strategically whilst also engaging in normal day-to-day tactical detail. Detail-oriented individual who takes ownership, is organized, possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and is able to deliver on tight deadlines. Highly motivated, hard-working, and able to work in a fast paced, informal, and often ambiguous environment.
Salary + Benefits Salary on offer circa £45,000, plus benefits including 25 days holidays (plus Bank Holidays), death in service, option to join group dental scheme, well-being program, cycle to work scheme, retail discounts, well-being programs, and more. Due to this role working in a secure environment, candidates will be subject to a financial and DBS check prior to onboarding.
