An established organisation located in Stowmarket, my client is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team located at their site in Stowmarket, Suffolk.
Your new role
Reporting to and working closely with the no.1 in finance on-site, this is a varied role which will suit a candidate with a mix of financial and management accounting experience. Key responsibilities include: assisting with financial statement preparation, payroll review, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, finance business partnering, financial analysis and modelling, and assisting with audit preparation.
What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or an Accounting Graduate with relevant practical accounting experience. A strong commercial outlook, combined with confident communication skills will be key. My client is open to candidates looking for their first step into industry or looking for a new challenge in a commercial environment. What you'll get in return This role is offered on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) with generous benefits which include 28 days + 8 bank holidays, and a discretionary bonus.
