Management Accountant – Thirsk – Up to £48,000 + Bonus If you're a driven finance professional seeking a role where you can make a tangible impact, this could be your next move. Working in a private equity-backed, fast-paced environment, you'll play a key part in ensuring the financial health and performance of the business. As a Management Accountant, you'll take ownership of the month-end reporting process, delivering accurate and timely management accounts while maintaining strong balance sheet controls. Collaborating closely with site business partners, you'll ensure financial results align with operational performance and provide insights into variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior years. You'll also support the year-end audit process, preparing disclosures and management accounts analysis for tax purposes. This role offers the chance to shape and improve the management accounts function by driving automation and identifying opportunities for efficiency. You'll oversee monthly capital accounting and ensure accurate tracking against budgets and forecasts, while also supporting wider finance team members with the information they need to succeed. To succeed in this role, you'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong grasp of technical principles and a detail-oriented approach. While experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial, it's not essential. What matters most is your ability to communicate effectively, meet deadlines, and approach problem-solving with a positive, proactive mindset. Strong Excel skills and a desire to thrive in a collaborative, high-energy environment will set you apart. This is an opportunity to grow and make a real impact in an ambitious, agile business that values your expertise and input. If you're ready for a challenge, click apply now.
