We are seeking a talented, highly organised full time Management Accountant with a 'can do' attitude to join our small Finance Team. You will report to the Head of Finance and support the work of three junior team members.

The main focus of the role will be the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts for both our Charity and Trading companies in a timely manner. You will be a key part of the annual budgeting process and produce budget reports for budget holders. You will be expected to work in the office at least 3 days a week, and to provide management cover in the office for the Head of Finance when necessary.

About the role

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and other financial reports Produce monthly budget reports for all budget holders Help and support the Head of Finance to optimise the use of the Sage 200 software Supervise the work of the finance team day to day Deputise on financial matters in the absence of the Head of Finance Review bank and deposit account balances daily and ensure funds are in appropriate accounts to meet cash flow needs Support the Director of Finance and Head of Finance as required About you

Experience of producing detailed management accounts Knowledge of accounting software, ideally Sage 200 High level IT skills including Advanced Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate financial information to operational staff Strong organisation skills Ability to operate to tight deadlines Can do attitude Benefits
