Your new role Working closely with the directors of the company, your new management accountant job will be the most senior finance role within the company. Supported by an already established finance colleague, this job will give the right candidate an opportunity to develop as the company grows. As this is a relatively small team, the management accountant role will be broad. Primary responsibilities include: Preparing financial reports and budgets, as well as controlling and forecasting income and expenditure. Overseeing accounting procedures and supervising the financial accounting staff. Gathering and interpreting information to evaluate the efficiency of financial procedures. Analysing key financial data and advising senior management on strategic planning. Developing and implementing cost-effective financial policies and procedures, as well as mitigating financial risks. Ensuring that financial management policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards. Performing financial recordkeeping, as well as protecting sensitive and confidential information. Monitoring auditing and taxation practices and keeping up to date with regulatory requirements and best practices in management accounting. This is a newly created permanent job. What you'll need to succeed Ideally qualified in CIMA or equivalent. Background in SME/FMCG is highly beneficial. Good business partnering skills.
