Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities As a Management Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in our team by: Being the subject matter expert for Markerstudy Insurance entity. Preparing monthly accruals, prepayments, and journals. Conducting balance sheet and cashbook reconciliations. Preparing monthly invoices and reconciling aged debtors. Assisting with the collation of monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting. Actively managing risk by ensuring effective controls are in place. Driving continuous process improvement. Supporting ad hoc projects as needed.
Must-Have Skills and Attributes To excel in this role, you'll need: Experience in a similar role. A strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Excellent organisational skills, including time management and task prioritisation. A self-motivated attitude with high standards of work. Proficiency in Excel with strong analytical skills. The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Desirable Skills It's a bonus if you have: An understanding of the insurance industry. Experience using Sage Intaact.
