CMA Recruitment Group is currently partnering with an established and expanding Yeovil based business who operate as part of a wider Group. They require a Management Accountant to join on a permanent basis; this is a newly created position.
Working closely with the Managing Director, the successful candidate will carry out a varied remit of management accounting for this construction-based business.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines. Completion of year-end reconciliation and reports, including supporting with statutory accounts. Budgeting & forecasting, reporting to Directors. Accounts analysis and providing insight into the numbers.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
An ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant is ideal for this opportunity. Previous experience working in the construction industry sector is advantageous. Able to communicate with stakeholders and non-finance colleagues. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
