About the Role We are seeking an experienced Management Consultant at the Senior Manager level with a proven track record in Australian public sector consulting, Program/project management and Client Management. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and business expertise, strong analytical skills, and a consultative approach to deliver impactful solutions for government clients.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple engagements. This involves defining objectives, setting priorities, assigning tasks, reviewing performance, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. Serve as the primary point of contact among the engagement team, senior leadership, and clients, fostering effective communication and alignment. Craft precise statements of work that effectively communicate project roles, responsibilities, and expectations. Conduct client interviews and facilitate workshops to gather valuable insights and perspectives. Analyse research findings and client information to develop well-founded conclusions and actionable recommendations. Develop comprehensive client-ready documents and deliver impactful presentations that convey insights and solutions persuasively. Stay at the forefront of industry and technical developments, leveraging this knowledge to enhance engagement outcomes. Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, extending your guidance beyond the immediate scope of engagements. Cultivate deep expertise in project and people management, further enhancing your leadership capabilities. Cultivate strong client relationships, focusing on senior management stakeholders, and identify opportunities for additional engagements. Lead business development efforts, driving growth through proposals, marketing, and relationship-building. Elevate your specialised discipline by enhancing capabilities and providing valuable insights to clients.

What makes you a great fit? 8+ years of consulting experience, with at least 5 years in Australian public sector consulting. Demonstrated experience managing projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Strong technical background with experience in system integrations, data analysis, or enterprise applications. Strong understanding of public sector operations, regulations, and procurement processes.
