About the role:

As Senior Manager Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated AP team across multiple global locations. This role offers the opportunity to apply your extensive expertise in accounts payable operations, while demonstrating your proven leadership skills in managing large, multi-regional teams. Reporting to the Associate Director Shared Services, this is a diverse and challenging role requiring a strategic approach, exceptional communication skills, a strong focus on process excellence, and a commitment to team development and organizational success. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving continuous improvement and delivering results. Team Leadership and Development:

Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a team of Accounts Payable Managers and Shared Service Assistants, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, responsibility, initiative and continuous improvement. Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement strategic plans, objectives, and initiatives for the accounts payable function, aligning with organisational goals and priorities. Operational Oversight:

Oversee all aspects of the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, remediation, supplier reconciliation, payment processing, and vendor management. Performance Management:

Establish performance metrics, benchmarks, and KPIs to evaluate team performance and productivity. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain and Senior Leadership. Project Leadership and Change Management:

Lead and participate in strategic finance projects, transformation initiatives, and system implementations. Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and automation within the accounts payable function. About you:

Candidates with progressive experience in accounts payable functions, preferably in a multinational or large-scale organisation, with management/leadership experience, should have the skills and experience required for the role. We are also looking for: Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred. Expert knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and ERP systems SAP and VIM preferable. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proven track record of building, developing, and managing high-performing teams. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse complex issues, develop actionable insights, and execute strategic initiatives. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Strong project management skills, with experience leading finance transformation projects. Proactive, responsible mindset, results-oriented approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. What we offer:
