The Manager, Engineering will oversee delivery of software solutions, defining project scope and objectives. Managing a team of software engineers, the role will provide guidance and support, make technical decisions, create project plans and schedules, drive improvements in team processes, monitor project progress and ensure that they are completed on time and of good quality. The role will also manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring all parties are aligned and working towards common goals.

What You'll Do

Oversees development and implementation of software solutions for our company. Builds outstanding teams, managing relationships and communications within the team, facilitates collaboration and fills knowledge gaps, providing guidance and supporting them and their professional development. Defines project scope and objectives, creates project plans and schedules. Monitors project progress and makes necessary adjustments to ensure that projects remain on track, identifying dependencies and mitigating risks. Collaborates with Product function on defining the roadmap and with other Engineering Managers and Architects to improve the Engineering function. Enforces and sometimes leads processes and practices defined by the organization. Stays up to date with industry trends and company development. Identifies and addresses technical debt and other issues that may impact the maintainability, performance, scalability and security of the software and implements and enforces software development best practices, such as code reviews, testing, and documentation.

What You'll Bring

Strong technical background in software engineering. Proven experience leading and managing software development teams. Strong understanding of software development methodologies and processes. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience with project management tools and techniques. Experience on planning and estimation. Experience with code and design reviews.
