Manager – Facilities Management and Material Handling Maintenance

based in Dartford. Reporting to the Senior Manager P&E Facility Management and Sort Maintenance, this management role will lead, direct, coach, and develop team members within a certain geographical area of the UK. You will deliver a safe and compliant Maintenance function and will be responsible for Facility Management and Material Handling automated sort systems for the sites in your scope. You will support and implement the development and standardization of industry-leading Facility Management and Maintenance processes focused on service excellence and reliability whilst controlling and managing costs and reducing the number of suppliers by implementing BPO models. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Maintenance goals are achieved, and processes and procedures are completed promptly and consistently in support of the Operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all activities are in line with company goals and regulatory requirements. With excellent leadership and analytical skills, you will be able to plan and organize meticulously. In addition, excellent judgement and decision-making skills and the ability to present to a wide audience confidently are essential. Your stakeholders will be within the UK business. Personality and approach, which are in line with our People, Service Profit philosophy, along with extensive change management experience, are more important than previous experience in our industry.
