Manager, Manufacturing Exton, PA (on-site) The Manufacturing Manager assures that dsm-firmenich Biomedical products are of consistent and high quality by managing operations in compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards and quality system requirements to meet customer quality and service expectations. This role will have full accountability for manufacturing, testing, planning, process support and improvement. Your Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the operations team in the assigned unit Promote and maintain a strong “Safety First” culture Lead troubleshooting process for process/tooling/other problems that occur during daily production activities. Effectively interact with other departments to resolve issues and drive solutions Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaborate with SHE, quality, supply chain and engineering Coordinate job, safety, and GMP training for production personnel as required You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline Minimum 8 years of relevant operations experience required Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing others required Experience working in a highly regulated environment, medical device industry and/or pharmaceuticals experience highly preferable Strong leadership with the ability to drive for solutions Continuous improvement mindset and experience as a change agent dsm-firmenich is fully dedicated to inclusion because when people feel engaged and empowered, their creativity and innovation drives unprecedented progress.
