We are seeking a
Manager of Editorial and Content
to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the Polygon Labs blog, with a focus on growth, conversion, SEO, and communicating key ecosystem and product updates to a diverse readership of builders and users alike. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our content strategy. The right candidate will maintain and grow brand awareness with innovative but approachable content. You will be key in positioning Polygon Labs as a thought leader in the blockchain space, with deep collaboration and oversight over press releases. The role reports to the Vice President of Communications + Content. Your Responsibilities
Content Creation, Editing, and SEO: Serve as the primary editor and writer for the Polygon Labs blog. Grow traffic to Polygon website and focus on conversion. Plan and execute consistent email campaigns for more intimate contact with builders and users. Partner with ecosystem projects to write and edit announcements. Rigorously maintain and update blog content as new product releases come online. Contribute to writing and editing website copy for campaigns. Editorial Strategy and Cross-functional Collaboration: Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly content strategies aligned with Polygon Labs’s brand identity. Collaborate with marketing, product, and business teams to develop content and deliverables for various purposes. Examples include: Product and technical announcements. Email campaigns. Editing or writing press releases. Developing collateral in conjunction with the business team. Partner with internal stakeholders to produce GTM-related content, including boilerplate language and campaign-specific messaging for Polygon zkEVM, CDK, and PoS upgrades. Partner and Leadership Support: Write technical blog posts and social content for founders, such as Sandeep Nailwal and Mihalio Bjelic, ensuring alignment with brand strategy. Provide Q&A answers and support leadership in refining messaging. Social and Multimedia Content: Write and post engaging content for social media platforms, ensuring technical blogs and campaigns are effectively promoted. Collaborate with design teams to create compelling blog graphics and visual elements using tools like Figma. What You'll Need
Experience:
5+ years in editorial, content management, or a related field, preferably in blockchain, technology, or Web3. Writing Skills:
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio showcasing technical and non-technical content. Strategic Thinking:
Ability to align content strategy with brand goals and adapt messaging for diverse audiences. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Proven track record of working across engineering, BD, and marketing teams. Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of blockchain technology and concepts, with the ability to translate complex ideas into accessible content. Graphic Design:
Basic proficiency in Figma or other design tools to create blog graphics. Project Management:
