Release Management, QA, Quality Assurance, Gaming, WWS, Marketing Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent permanent opportunity for a Release Manager with QA experience to join a household name in Liverpool. Responsibilities: Overall management and leadership of the European and American Release Management teams. Support, advocate and align with the executive level goals from SIE, WWS, Global Platform (GP) and WWS QA. Advocate broader Engineering/WWS QA services with studio stakeholders where necessary. Maintain a rolling 3-year strategic plan, anticipating and reacting to changes in technology, business, internal and external environments. Monitor overall work processes and standard procedures to ensure team performance meets company and industry standards. Develop and maintain an appropriate organizational structure capable of supporting all customers, technologies, and business strategies. Develop and implement comprehensive release strategies to ensure quality standards, communication, risk assessment, processes, and controls are met. Collaborate with WWS, support groups, Format QA, and Operations during the Software Development Lifecycle. Provide leadership and planning to the Release Management Team. Develop and support staff through ongoing training programs, quarterly reviews, and succession management. Manage risks and issues related to new or changed services and take corrective action. Capture and utilize RM metrics to drive continuous process improvements. Oversee various projects across multiple teams and locations. Technical Qualifications: Subject matter expertise in console content Release Management discipline. Knowledge of SIE internal and off-the-shelf Release Management tools. Technical project management experience in a dynamic high-technology environment. Strong Microsoft Office Skills: Visio, Project, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Leadership: Proven skills leading teams and building a motivating culture. Ability to excel in ambiguous business situations. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering projects in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to forge exceptional working relationships. Strong problem resolution, negotiation, judgment, decision-making, influencing, and persuasion skills. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Planning and Implementation: Ability to develop, coordinate, and guide strategic operational plans. Work with process stakeholders to manage the design and implementation of release processes. Ability to diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions. Required Experience / Education: At least 4 years of leadership experience in a software development organization. Relevant experience in the gaming industry or software development company. Experience of working and leading internationally is an advantage. A passion for gaming.
