The Calculations team builds sophisticated financial math functions into Addepar, with an emphasis on scalability and performance. Our algorithms comprise the foundation of the analytics platform, and collaborate with almost every other team at Addepar to deliver best in class wealth management technology. Contribute to shaping our ambitious program of product features, technical debt reduction, and scalability improvements in our core application stack Coach and mentor backend software engineers Deliver solutions for our clients, drive software delivery and improve engineering processes Collaborate with partner teams across Addepar to deliver impactful results for both internal and external clients Who You Are
2+ years leading software engineering teams, preferably in a product engineering context, 5+ years in hands-on software development Experience or interest in financial technology A great communicator adept at working with cross-functional partners You value developing people and coaching engineers to succeed. Experienced with managing software projects throughout the SDLC, improving team agile processes, estimation and project planning Experience working with memory intensive and high traffic distributed systems
