Proven operations management experience in exhibitions & events? Quality people management experience and able to lead from the front? Relationship building and able to establish rapport. Excellent problem solving and the ability to develop solutions?

The opportunity:

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit the newly created position of Managing Director. We have an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to join us and lead the business forward at this exciting time of growth of MODEX Exhibitions. You will be responsible for the overall operations, performance and growth of the business and its activities. Naturally, you will be expected to develop, achieve, and exceed the targeted KPIs by leading the team to drive the business results and implement innovation to ensure future growth. We are looking for the General Manager to also maintain operational efficiencies as well as fostering a positive workplace culture.

Proven experience of operations management in exhibitions & events Proven people management experience Strong leadership skills Numerate, proven experience of P&L, numerate understanding and budgetary control Business management and acumen skills Strong entrepreneurial skills IT literate; Microsoft Office (Excel - intermediate/advanced, PowerPoint, Word, Email) Line management experience.
