Managing Pharmacist - Private Hospital Ackerman Pierce are looking for a Managing Pharmacist to provide a first-class clinical pharmacy service to the department. You will play an essential role in ensuring medicines optimisation; safe, appropriate, accurate and cost-effective services to ensure patients receive their medication in a timely, professional and efficient manner with all the necessary practical and clinical information. Pharmacy Manager required on a locum basis. Must be able to cover on-call. CCU course preferable. What you'll need as a Managing Pharmacist - Private Hospital: Experience as a Managing Pharmacist Abide by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards of conduct, ethics and performance as well as standards for registered pharmacies, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations. Provide a comprehensive and patient-centered clinical pharmacy service to patients at the Hospital in accordance with the hospital's objectives to ensure safe, clinically effective, and cost-efficient use of drugs. Act as a specialist pharmacist and provide a patient-focused clinical pharmacy ward service to the ward. Ensure safe management of oncology electronic prescribing system and appropriate management of the introduction of new medicines. Communicate information relating to medicines management within the setting to clinical colleagues, nurses, independent prescribers, carers, and patients. What you will bring: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Broad clinical pharmacy background including ward-based work Recent and significant experience of UK aseptic services, oncology, and chemotherapy services. Experience of initiating, leading, and developing services Membership of the British Cancer Services Pharmacy Association SACT knowledge acquired working as a cancer pharmacist Why Choose Ackerman Pierce?
