Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager

This contractor specialises in Civil Engineering providing both Main Contractor and Subcontractor services. They work on a wide range of frameworks for Local Authorities, Government Contracts, and Retail Clients as well as one-off schemes for Private Developers and Main Contractors. Projects span Public Realm, Structures, Cycle Highways, Large Scale Infrastructure, Water, Carparks, and S278 works. These range from £500k up to £12m with a mix of NEC, JCT, and Bespoke contracts.
They are looking to recruit a Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to take over the day-to-day management of a team of 6 Commercial Staff, providing mentoring, guidance, personal development plans, as well as allocation of workload. The successful candidate would be involved in both pre and post-contract stages for projects, identifying risk and opportunity, managing client relations, and aiding the Commercial Director with the day-to-day structuring and growth of the business.
This role is ideal for someone with big dreams for their career. You will be given support and guidance throughout the entire journey whilst being encouraged to voice your ideas for areas of improvement and for genuinely becoming an important member of a high-performing, cohesive team.
This role comes with a wide range of salary, fully dependent on entry level of experience - £75k through to £90k (negotiable) with £8k car allowance, discretionary bonus, and many other benefits.
