We have a fantastic opportunity within our Energy business unit for a Managing QS to work on National Grid projects. Administer NEC4 EWN's, CEN's, value change management to Client & supply chain. Provide commercial support / guidance to Project Delivery Team wrt Scope of Works obligations, contractual issues. Preparing and updating forecasts and monthly AfP's ensuring timely payment. Supporting preparation of CVR. Management of costs to NG CBS in COINS. Procurement and administration of subcontract packages. Ensuring accurate costing of material and plant reqs. Minimum Requirements: BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent commercially related subject. Preferably qualified to CIOB or RICS accreditation. Relevant CSCS Card. Comprehensive level of commercial experience preferably with a contracting organisation. Used to working on own initiative with knowledge of the procurement of subcontractors and the monthly measurement cycle.
