Our client is looking for both experienced and trainee Milling and Lathe Machinists to join their expanding team in Ipswich. If you are passionate about machining, with or without experience, and eager to learn, they would love to hear from you!
Are you the right person for the job?
Experienced Applicants:
Skilled or semi-skilled in using manual lathes and/or milling machines
Self-motivated with the ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Trainee Applicants:
Eagerness to learn machining techniques
Willingness to train and work with mild steel and aluminium
A strong work ethic and enthusiasm for personal development
What will your role look like?
Machining components from mild steel and aluminium
Operating manual lathes and milling machines
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Developing and honing your machining skills (for trainee applicants)
Working independently or as part of a team
What can you expect in return?
Competitive salary ranging from £12.50 to £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
